Billionaire Steve Wynn is looking to get lucky with finding a buyer for his spectacular Beverly Hills mansion, which he recently listed for $135 million. The sprawling 2.7-acre estate, which includes a 27,150-square-foot main house, was originally built by Guess cofounder Maurice Marciano in the early 1990s, but has since been updated and expanded under Wynn’s ownership. (The casino mogul bought the place about five years ago for $48 million.)
Set far back from the street on a private cul-de-sac in the lower Benedict Canyon neighborhood, the estate boasts 11 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms, with an elevator that travels between floors. Roger Thomas of Wynn Resorts helped to reimagine the interiors, and the luxurious living room is decked out with coffered ceilings, velvety blue patterned carpet, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and a stately marble fireplace. The reception room is outfitted in crimson red and features a wet bar. The home also has all the amenities a billionaire mogul might expect, like a spacious wine room, a cavernous home theater with stadium-style seating, and a home gym with mirrored walls.
The master suite features dual bathrooms, multiple walk-in closets and dressing rooms, and its own private office. There are four en suite guest bedrooms, and the staff quarters are located in two separate wings of the home. One is designated for domestic help, and includes three bedrooms and a kitchen, while the other is meant for a private-security team, with three bedrooms and a kitchenette. The grounds surrounding the home are also quite impressive, with a rectangular swimming pool, a lighted tennis court with an air-conditioned seating house and kitchenette, and a pool house with yet another kitchenette and changing facilities. Wynn made huge landscape upgrades and reconfigurations during his stay there, with Robert Truskowski designing the curated gardens. Presently, Wynn also owns a mansion in Las Vegas, a $70 million penthouse apartment in NYC, a ski chalet in Sun Valley, Idaho, and a $43 million oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, which he bought just last year.
